“Tommy, close your eyes,” Technoblade commanded.

“Do it,” he said firmly. His knuckles turned white from how hard he was gripping the iron bars, “Fenik,” he said, and the iron tore apart in front of him, the shackles on his wrists shattered and fell to the ground.
The guard stumbled back, “Don’t come any closer or I’ll-”
Techno didn’t let him finish the thought, “Kh’ek.”
The guard’s body crumpled, his bones shattering out of his skin. Blood erupted from the guard, spraying all across the hallway and cell.
“Alright,” he said, turning around, “It’s over. You can open your-”
Tommy was staring at him with wide, very haunted, very open, eyes. A drop of blood from the spray rolled down his cheek, “What the fuck was that?” he choked out.---
In a world of gods and magic, everything has a true Name. A Name was the sound of a soul, the fabric of being. If you knew something’s Name, you held complete power over it.

Wilbur let out a noise that sounded very much like a strangled seal. Tommy whipped his head around with the speed of a cobra, "Oi, what're you laughing at?"
They dissolved into an argument over whether or not Tommy was a Big Man while Philza sighed and rubbed at the space behind the feathers located near his ears. He turned around and led Techno up the gangplank while Tommy chased Wilbur around the loading area.
"I hope you recognize the terrible mistake you've made by agreeing to this job, mate."
Or: Techno is a human who hops on the SBI crew and is now trying to hide his trauma and humanity.
