Summary
In unearthing the Nomu Factory, the Heroes and police of Japan discovered a body. This was not unexpected, but the nationality and uniform of the corpse in question… that was. Because this failed Nomu wore the uniform of Amestris, a war torn nation from the isolated continent of Atossa, where Quirks and modern electronics had never developed and never worked.
Edward Elric hoped he could retire from military service in peace, traveling Amestris while his brother Alphonse went to Xing. This is put on hold when now-Führer Mustang asks him to travel to the Outside, to the world beyond that was barricaded for centuries after the development of something called ‘Quirks’. A soldier has been killed and Amestris needs to know more about the Outside.

Or, Edward Elric and Amestris meet the greater world of Heroes and Villains. It remains to be seen who’s more traumatized by the encounter.

Summary

Traveling merchant Lian, exhausted and lost physically and emotionally on the outskirts of town stumbles into a half-dead stranger proclaiming themselves as 'The Seer,' a vessel for the 'Celestials,' God made flesh. The Seer babbles on about their ascension through recompletion, attempting to indoctrinate the faithless Lian into their plan. The Seer deems Lian as their 'Angel,' a counterpart to their divinity and guide throughout life, especially mortal pain. Lian's past, haunted with false Gods and painful rituals, reluctantly saves The Seer from their death in the woods, forcing him to reflect on his own faith and what he stands for. Lian learns how deep scars can transcend just mortal flesh.

Izuku Midoriya was exhausted. Physically, mentally, psychologically. Absolutely, one hundred percent done with everything. “Believe it or not–I quite like you, Shikamaru,” Naruto said, leaning against the door, utterly relaxed in his ridiculous, pompous mansion. Shikamaru bit back an instinctive retort, choosing to listen. “You are intelligent, skilled, astute and pretty handsome, too. But liking you is as far as I can go. We know this marriage is a sham so let’s not pretend like it’s anything but, alright?”
The irritation he felt was instant. Naruto spoke as if he expected Shikamaru to be disappointed. He would show the Uzumaki just how mistaken he was.
“I’m not the one who dropped the honorifics, Naruto-san,” he replied, voice tight but clear. “And, unless my memory serves me wrong, weren’t you the one who kissed me in front of all those people just a few hours ago?”
“I did so for both our sakes and you know it,” Naruto said with heated emotion. “So don’t you dare throw it in my face, Shikamaru-san.”
