Summary
Achilles tilts his chin up defiantly, in an effort to stare Patroclus down. He only succeeds in looking like a petulant child. “It is considered a great honour to be a therapon to a prince, you know.”
“Honour is meant to be earned, not handed out as if to a beggar, or a dog.”
Achilles’ nostrils flare, his green-gold eyes gleaming dangerously. “Such scorn from someone who was training to be a common footsoldier just this morning. Many of the boys back at the yard would beg for this chance.”
“Then you should have chosen one of them, perhaps." Patroclus glances down at the expensive chiton and his brand new arms, and hates how heavy and foreign they feel on him. “I didn’t ask for any of this.”
The last thing Patroclus wants is to become therapon to the Prince of Phthia. He had his fill of princelings back when he lived in Opus—hell, he used to be one himself. He doesn't need some stuck-up demigod to size him up and appoint him his glorified manservant. He'd much rather pass, thank you very much.
Achilles, however, is unlike any prince he's ever met.

"Am I really worth something to you?"
Armin nodded quietly at the question. It was true. Erwin was… ridiculously handsome. He was strong, he was tall… but it was more than that. He cared so deeply. He would barely show it, but Armin had spent so much time working with him. He could see the little nuances that gave Erwin away from his cold outer shell. “You mean so much,” Armin whispered, squeezing his eyes shut, trembling as he held the man.
To Armin, Erwin was everything.

Summary
Erwin est un homme anxieux et solitaire, vivant toujours chez son père malgré ses 39 ans. Il est homosexuel et n’a jamais vraiment goûté aux plaisirs d’une relation amoureuse.
À l’opposé, Porco, 28 ans, incarne l’effervescence de la jeunesse. Amateur de fêtes et d'aventures sans lendemain, il enchaîne les conquêtes. Bien qu'il soit bisexuel, il a une petite préférence pour les hommes plus âgés, et surtout pour les blonds.
Quand Porco commence son nouveau poste de commercial et rencontre Erwin, le blondinet du service comptabilité, il ne peut s'empêcher de craquer pour lui.
Ce qui débute comme un simple jeu de séduction se transforme en une romance aussi passionnée que toxique, entre deux âmes aux antipodes l’une de l’autre.
