Summary
The world was no stranger to soulmate marks.
They had been known about them since the dawn of time. Popping up here and there for seemingly no reason at all. Not much was known about their origins, or how one got one. Some were born with one others were not but somehow gained one over time.
The marks took on many different shapes, from the first words your soulmate would speak to you to tattoos that could grow to cover almost your entire body. The latter being much more rare, as those had come to be associated with warriors throughout history.
Then, of course, some did not bear such a mark but were soulmates in their own right.
Two such people are The Plum Blossom Sword Saint, Cheongmyeong, and The Dark Saint, Tang Bo.

100/10 Kept me from spiraling into a panic attack over bugs in my bathroom
(i was feeling imaginary bugs on my skin almost constantly haha)

“She’ll never claim me,” he whispered. Silena shook her head, eyes wild as she looked around for anyone who could be watching.
“My mother doesn’t remember half of her children as it is,” she said with a note of bitterness. “If you do something to impress her, it won’t matter. Return the bolt in her name. She’ll claim you if you act the part. If you stay unclaimed then they'll figure out what you really are," she said, squeezing his hands tightly. Percy's heart sped up.
"I - I don't know the first thing about Aphrodite-"
"My mother was born of sea foam," Silena cut him off. "And if you're really who I think you are... you are the sea. You can pull this off," she said and touched his cheek. "Get the bolt. Survive," she said. Percy swallowed.
"What if I can't act the part?" He asked. Silena's expression went blank for a moment. Slowly, she slipped off her bracelet and placed it in his hands.
"If you're going to be one of us... you better learn."

Summary
Sick of the Dursleys and resolved to missing his few friends if it means getting away from the people of the Wizarding World and their nosy whispers, Harry gets the idea to leave it all behind for a while, just a bit, just for a rest. Like a camping trip, except he’ll take enough provisions for a year or so...maybe some plants, seeds and things for a little garden. Maybe some time away from the things that weigh him down will help the constant highs and lows he’s been feeling for a while now. Just a little break.
(Or, the one where Harry says TTFN and takes himself off on an indefinite vacation and upsets a few very careful plans.)

Summary
When trying to transfer Shen Yuan from the real world to Proud Immortal Demon Way, the System runs into an error. The transfer is not complete.
Shen Yuan is dropped off at the foot of a mountain aware of two things: he's in the story, and the Shen Qingqiu of this world is not only aware but thinks he tried to possess his body — and he's PISSED. Shen Yuan tries to opt out and live a simple life on what locals tell him is a monster-infested mountain no one in their right mind would bother with.
Sounds like a great hiding spot!
