He knows Dora, the brave Metamorphmagus who studied hard to become an Auror and later married Professor Lupin. He knows Dora, the witch who gave birth to Ted’s only grandson.
He never met Dora. He knows her through Ted.
He knew Professor Lupin, so when the double funeral for his former professor and his wife arrives, another in the string of too many funerals in early May, Dean goes. He doesn’t go empty-handed.
