Summary
A random villain-of-the-week makes Robert late for work. It's only by a few minutes, yet the encounter that hardly lasted a few seconds instills a sudden chill in Robert's bones. Its persistence is matched only by the Z-Team's stubbornness as they force their dispatcher to join them in activities they think will warm him up.
But none of it matters if Robert can't learn to believe he'll ever be warm again... or that he deserves the warmth this team brings him.

Summary
A bar fight? Easy. Rehabilitating ex-villains? A Tuesday. But a cold, a concussion and a nap on a sidewalk? With bruised ribs and absolutely zero will to live? That might just be what finally kills Robert.
TL;DR: Z-Team takes care of sick Robert (they're pretty shit at this)
Sickfic and first fanfic here :D (update: thank u so much for liking this story - I'm literally so blessed)

// ANGST!!! // EP7 // DISPATCH SPOILERS // HURT/COMFORT
He waited until the door was almost shut, until the sound of her footsteps were just fading. He held his breath, clenched his fist, and fought a war with himself in the silence of a hospital room.
He lost.
A shaky, ragged breath escaped him—the first surrender. And then a sob, choked and desperate, that he tried to smother into his hands.
Robert Robertson never cried, but this time, everything was too much. This time, it wasn't just about a failure—it was about Chase. His uncle, his mentor, his hero.
TL;DR: Robert finally breaks down, and the Z-Team has to figure out how to pick up the pieces.

Summary
“Good possibility she is. We don’t have any way in hell of knowing just how many followers that bastard had. This kung-fu-killer wolf bitch could be one of his damn…co-leaders.”
“Co-leaders?” Robert echoes back, raising an eyebrow at the lack-for-better-word term. His smile grows when Chase huffs in frustration, old-man dreads a cloud that pollutes his scrunched face.
“Now you know what the fuck I meant.”
“Just saying, just saying.”
“Yeah? Well, you better just put your ass back on that monitor.” Chase snaps. The shift in his tone is palpable pain; an obvious warning that makes Robert straighten in his seat, though he would never admit it. “Laugh at me all you want; this woman has evaded the Z-Team twice, so you need to crack her down today. Every time you let her slip? That’s another opportunity for her to get more dangerous.”
The unspoken words linger like a draft in the air. Robert hears and feels them all the same; She can kill the team. She can kill you. Don’t be a fool.
Get up.

Summary
Robert has arguably the easiest job out of all of them. He sits at a desk and funnels Z-Team for calls.
So why the hell is he getting kidnapped?
And why does Z-Team have such a problem with it?
