Told from Edward's point of view, this story explores what really happened during Edward's pursuit of Victoria in New Moon. When his hunt entangles him with a human girl, the two find themselves as allies with a mysterious connection, forced to wrestle with their belief in souls, love, the value of life, and inner demons as they fight to keep each other alive.
My goal is to keep this story and its sequel as canon-compliant as possible, so that you could read them alongside the main four books and get a lot more tragic depth out of certain lines and reactions that seemed just a little odd or unexplained before.

There was nothing left for him in the wizarding world so he was starting over.
Harry Peverell, a 17-year-old muggle with too much time on his hands, moves to the only place where he might still have family.
Forks, Washington, seems like the perfect place to start over and carve out a new place for himself but he's not the only immortal teenager in town and ignoring the problem doesn't seem to be making it go away.
He didn't need to get involved with every supernatural mystery, and really, was it any of his business if his new cousin's eyes glowed amber sometimes? It certainly wasn't any of his business that a coven of vampires were pretending to be teenagers at his school.
Harry is determined to ignore what's happening and instead focus on his hatred of Charles Dickens, Chemistry homework and Mike Newton.
But the supernatural element of his new high school can't seem to leave him alone and Harry has always been really bad at staying out of things.
