Summary
"I'm hallucinating now," Damian muttered to himself, as the boy stared at him, uncertainly, "Mhm, pretty sure I'm not a hallucination."
"That's what a hallucination would say, Richard," he said, knowing he sounded petulant. Whatever the Galra had given him to keep him quiet, it was stronger than many of the drugs he had become accustomed to during his training with the League of Assassins.
It was only for this reason that he risked falling forward. Fortunately for him, he was promptly grabbed by the boy. It was a strong, solid grip, and definitely not a hallucination.
Damian looked up, meeting eyes that reminded him of a dead man, and the other said, "You confused me with another person. My name is not Richard. It's Lance."
(During his imprisonment on an alien ship, after sacrificing himself to save Earth, Damian meets a boy who reminds him terribly of his dead brother. He can't be who he believes, but the resemblance is striking, and Damian just wants to believe that something left by Dick Grayson still exists.)

Summary
"He was so young," Dr. Holt's voice was cracking with emotion, and Noelle didn't know what to do, especially since she wasn't one to be sentimental.
"We all were, but he was so young when... when the war ended, he adopted Sam and Allie, he chose to stay on Earth. He was still a kid. I'd forgotten."
Dr. Holt covered her eyes with a hand, holding back tears. Noelle wanted to call Rex. He was good with that emotional stuff. She felt completely out of her depth at that moment.
"Doctor... Katie... he's not your friend. I mean, this is not even our universe..."
"Do you think it makes a difference?" she interrupted her abruptly, turning to her with her eyes still red and shining. "It's been twelve years, Noelle. And it still hurts like hell. If you think I'm bad, think about his damn daughters. Wait until Keith..."
at that name, her expression darkened. "Nevermind that asshole. I hope he's dead."*
Twelve years ago, Keith made a mistake that cost Lance's life and the sight of one of his adopted daughters. Now, after their last mission went horribly wrong, the new paladins ended up in another universe, coming face to face with ghosts.

The hidden one, no god reprieves
The Pit shall rise, the Thrice shall begin,
And the seventh will break when a god is born within. In one life, Persephone Jackson was feared. Not openly—the gods wouldn’t dare admit they feared a mortal, not even their savior. But she was.
In this life, Percy digs a bit too deep. A god's power is very different from a primordial's. And Tartarus isn't so pleased with the demigod who used his essence.
AKA Percy and Luke time-travel to Ancient Greece. Meanwhile, the gods scramble to find the subject of their new prophecy

Summary
Keith hates silence.
He was lying on his back, one arm stretched along his side, the other on his stomach. He had ruined everything. He knew he had. He had never been good with people. And now this would cost him one of the few good things he had ever had.
Someone knocked on his door. The sound was soft, hesitant. Keith ignored it. The knocks continued. He was irritated, "Go away."
"Oh..." his blood runs cold when he heard the voice. Lance. "Ok, then, I..."
Keith scrambled off the bed so fast his boot tangled in the blanket, sending him stumbling forward. He barely caught himself on the doorframe before faceplanting, but his fingers were already gripping the edge of the sliding door, wrenching it open. Lance—already turned halfway down the corridor—spun back, eyes wide.
(Relationships aren't easy. But for Lance, Keith thinks it'll always be worth it.)
