Summary
Ronin, still grieving for Tara, is trying to move on. Everyone treats him like glass and he can't find anyone to be around. But then suddenly MK is there, and he found someone who just…understands, someone he can talk to and be with, without being thought of as fragile. Two-shot: Pre-Ronin/MK, mention of Nod/MK and Ronin/Tara.
To his surprise, he saw that there was already someone else there.
Mary Katherine, the girl who'd shrunk and help them save the forest and helped protect the pod, was kneeling at the spot where Tara had died.
He could see the 'Queen Tara' etched out onto the stone, as well as a crude daisy drawing underneath that, and felt his lips twitch up, though he never fully smiled.
"You didn't have to do that," he snuck up on her, guessing that the stomper girl had gotten a stone and carved all that onto it.
"I felt like I did," she told him honestly

Summary
Sequel to "Comforts." Ronin's a retired Leafmen General with nothing to do, until MK comes back from university. Except she's got a baby in tow and Ronin's not quite sure how to work with the situation until he kind of just does.
"What's its name?" he whispered, still staring at the tiny and yet big thing wriggling in MK's arms.
"Her name," MK corrected him in amusement, before she hesitated. "Tara. Her name is Tara."
Ronin looked at MK in awe, before a small, sad smile twitched on his lips.
"It's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

Summary
Ronin and MK have moved in together with MK's baby. This is life as MK goes back to school, Ronin settles in with his new life and 'family', and somehow things feel complete and normal. Set after the prequels "Comforts" and "Baby Makes Three."
He feels strange and unused to this new place. Their house is in a place called "suburbs" and there's more people and space (with a lack of trees) than he's used to. He's struggling to get use to all the changes he's going through. But the continuous care for Tara and helping MK have helped him grow accustomed to the changes and he moves around like he's always been one of them by the time he's moving stuff into their home. It's now just his mind and his feelings, and this new culture he has to grasp.
But, to be honest, he's never felt this content and happy before..
