The private dinner is ultimately his idea, but it springs, like all good things do, from Samira. Specifically, her excitement at the sight of the stone firepit in front of their villa when they first settle in. He’s seen her gaze wander to it on occasion as they float in and out, but they’ve been - well, occupied, most other nights. She deserved what she wanted, though, and Jack knew that once their honeymoon was over, Samira would go back to having a block about voicing them, so was it so wrong that he rang the front desk when she was in the shower and he managed superhumanly not to join her, and asked around what they could do to indulge her?
