    Summary

Mittens has noticed something amiss outside the farmhouse lately. It makes her nervous, so Bolt decides to investigate -- and he stumbles onto an unwelcome visitor. How will he handle this, and will there be ramifications down the road? Primary cultural references include the movies "Zootopia" and "Apocalypse Now," Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner cartoons, the TV show "Columbo," the Peter Schickele "biography" of P.D.Q. Bach, author Franz Kafka, and the folk standard "Big Rock Candy Mountain" as well as music by Franz Joseph Haydn, Joni Mitchell, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Ike and Tina Turner, and Fleetwood Mac. Fair warning: expect some pun usage along the way, a fact I'm not "Haydn."

    Summary

Bolt is just enjoying an episode of Peter Gunn on the oldies channel when a feline femme fatale swishes into the room with a proposition he can't refuse. The shepherd calls in his hamster sidekick and concocts a foolproof plan to help this felonious feline. What could possibly go wrong when fools try to carry out a foolproof plan?

Like my other two stories in this fandom, this one takes place after they've moved to the farmhouse at the end of the movie.

Constructive criticism and feedback are always welcome.

Mittens gets old and thinks about things. Cats have a tendency to outlive other animals, after all. A not-unhappy story.

    Summary

Bolt refuses to abandon the idea that maybe - just maybe - not all of the powers he had in his show were special effects. As the strange path he follows in pursuit of this power plows right through Mittens's nap time, the cat decides that a simple prank might be just the thing needed to bring the pooch back down to Earth.

Soon it becomes clear, though, that there are wheels within wheels, and she is not the only prankster in the house.

And who's to say the dog isn't right after all?

    Summary

Rhino is by now a very old hamster at just shy of five years of age -- and sorry to say, he hasn't aged all that gracefully. He goes out with a bang, though, meeting some out-of-this-world visitors who take him on one final adventure. Meanwhile, Bolt and Mittens adjust to their friend's less-than-ideal state and ponder the joys of innuendo. Primary cultural references include the "Twilight Zone" episode "Hocus-Pocus and Frisby"; the television shows "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show"; the movies "Lilo and Stitch," "Cactus Flower," "The Wizard of Oz," "Babe," and "The Day the Earth Stood Still"; the comic strip "Smokey Stover"; and songs by The Cramps, The Jazz Butcher, The Byrds, David Bowie, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Elton John.

    Summary

Kion was a happy young Lion cub who formed the Lion Guard to protect the Pride Lands from any danger possible. His friends were Fuli the Cheetah, Bunga the Honey Badger, beshte the Hippo, and Ono the cattle egret. A story of family and friendship.

(I wanted to create my own crossover of the Lion Guard so I think it would make more sense since Kion was didn't exist in the Lion King 2.)

Bolt has heard that fanfics about him contain all sorts of wild inaccuracies, so he decides to take matters into his own paws and create his autobiography. He enlists Mittens to help him memorialize it on Penny’s computer, though neither is very knowledgeable about how these infernal machines work. Will Bolt set the record straight, and will Penny’s computer survive the ordeal? The last one. Time moves on as it must, and Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino ultimately achieve the happiest ending one could imagine. Much is finally explained, including why Bolt and Mittens became a couple, as well as the real story on Rhino and his relationship to his two friends. Primary cultural references include Aaron Copland's "Appalachian Spring" (orchestral suite version) and the Shaker hymn "Simple Gifts," as well as C.S. Lewis’s "Chronicles of Narnia" series, the movie "It's a Wonderful Life," and the song "Pay You Back with Interest" by the Hollies. Though Bolt and Mittens's final cultural binge together would be my choice as well.
