THIS IS UNFINISHED I'm terribly sorry, the explanation is in the A/N of Chapter 12 (in short: screw Rowling.) It is unfortunately one of those: I'm posting what I have (which is still a couple later chapters) and an explanation in-between so you know what's happening.

Bound by Midnight is a fan fiction inspired by the character Dontis, created by the truly incredible ASMR artist ZsakuVA. This story was born out of deep respect and years of admiration for his work.
Even if you're not familiar with ZsakuVA's videos, you can still read and enjoy this story. It's written to be accessible and clearly explained from the very beginning. However, I wholeheartedly encourage you to explore ZsakuVA's creations yourself-his work is truly remarkable, and you'd be missing something special without it.

This fanfiction mainly takes place in the 1920s New Orleans, since it is set for Alastors human life. There will be a lot of historical inaccuracies, that I will try to adresss in the notes if I can.
The female character aka Alastors wife will be named rarely if at all, but it is more of an OC than an /Reader. The use of Y/N wont be used.
Major character death is mainly for Alastor eventually dieing in the end. I only tagged graphic depictions of violence, because of right now I am unsure of how into detail I want to go with Alastors murders.
