Br’aad winced as his sharp nail dug into the soft skin of his neck. “Go ahead, mock me again. Since you seem to like to run your mouth so much.”
Br’aad scowled, ripping his head out of Ob’nockshai’s grasp. “I’m not stupid—“ He tried to say, but no words spilled forth.

Hey guys, Crim here. I started watching Fated nearly 6 years ago, and in that time, I've pulled together quite the personal wiki. I've been planning this for half a year, and I am so excited to finally have a long-term project. That being said this is not a completely accurate retelling, but rather my personal interpretation/exploration of the campaign. If you're familiar with the original, you might notice some changes. But don't worry! I have schemes to make up for it. In the meantime, you'll just have to roll with it.

goodbyes have always been awkward for sylnan. so when the fated start to split up- seeking different quests and following their callings all over the nine realms- he keeps alot of his opinions to himself. the trouble is velrisa. the trouble is velrisa, and the easy silence the two of them have. the trouble is velrisa, and the natural rhythm they have together in combat. the trouble is velrisa, who he can't quite get a read on. who- unbeknownst to him- is just as scared of their goodbye as he is.
velrisa's first problem is that she might be in love with sylnan vengolor; which seems likely to be problematic.
her second is that sylnan vengolor has skyrocketed her libidio to constant and un-ignorable levels, which seems definitively problematic.it takes them over six months to discuss this.

The days leading up to the Fated’s final battle against Ungaro have been hellish in more ways than one - exhausting physically, draining mentally, and filled with the underlying rush of terror that maybe, somehow, despite everything, the Fated will lose. So Taxi’s not having a great time. That’s how he ends up on a beach with Br’aad two days before the battle, taking a moment of respite that might be their last. And they both know it.
With the threat of death hanging low above their heads, Br’aad approaches Taxi with a strange suggestion - cross one more thing off a hypothetical bucket list before they possibly die. Namely, getting married. And maybe it’s the crippling fear of death without living a full life, or maybe it’s something else entirely, but Taxi agrees. Just for the hell of it, right?
Of course, with the Fated, things are never that simple. Or maybe just with the two of them.

“Do you–” Br'aad stops. He bounces one leg and taps his fingers against the table. There’s a flighty sort of nervousness hovering at the back of his throat and a deep dread blooming in his lungs and they’re both fighting it out somewhere in his skull. Familiar ghosts drift from neon orange booths. “Do you really not remember any of this?”
“... What?” Sylnan gives him the crazy-person look.
“This, any of this, Sylnan.” He waves at the diner and the orange and the pig n’ poke. “Like, today. Like it’s all happened before. Tuesday, I mean." And with that, the low, creeping horror that has been slowly crawling its way up his back sinks its teeth in deep. Because he remembers how this day ends.

Charlie Slimecicle's life gets invaded by his own characters, and some of them aren't as friendly as the rest. Now he needs to find a way to get them back where they came from, and a particular smiling ball of goo might have something to do with that.
But his friends can help, right? Well, maybe they could if he wasn't so insistent on handling it all himself...

Sylnan’s going to be eight next tuesday, and he’s never mastered his letters the way his little brother has. The tidy symbols that march so neatly from Br’aad’s pencil twirl around and float off the page for him. Instead, he uses burnt sticks and chalk and coal nubs and sometimes real graphite pencils, and he makes pictures, instead.
He can find those supplies elsewhere; somewhere with kinder walls and nicer roommates. Bigger meals, warmer beds, fewer bruises. So he leaves his pictures behind; and he climbs into the night with his brother at his heels.
It takes twelve minutes for his vacant bedroom to be filled, and another four years for the next pair of wayward children to make their escape. Taxi and Velrisa suffer the orphanage, and grow in spite of it, till the only space left to grow is outside of their tiny room’s cracking walls. They use Sylnan’s pictures and Br’aad’s words, and fight their way out. The problem, though; is that then, the newest vagabonds in the wharf come to find the Vengolors.

Sometimes, when he is able to navigate the nighthag’s warped perception of reality, he is able to recall this. Mostly, though, he thinks himself to be Lad O’ Lore, the to-be green-hag and aide of Uncle Knock.
