Cole, the Black Ninja, has been waiting MONTHS for Mr. Chen's Bakery to open. Not just cause he loves cake, but because he's been idolizeing the celebrity owner's (Kai Smith) social media for years.
However, Cole wishes he could figure out what's Nya's problem with Kai Smith. Surely, it's not that bad... right? Whatever it is, she'll need to get over it when Kai becomes a target for attacks and kidnapping, requiring the Ninja Team to bodyguard him (but hey, free sweets).
If that's not enough, there's a new player in town. A dangerous high-rank member of the Anacondrai Cult called the Red Shogun who has been hunting down Elemental Masters. Cole really hopes they can defeat him soon so he can focus on cake (and staring at Kai's face).
Meanwhile, Kai doesn't know what's going to kill him first. His work as the Red Shogun, Black's Flirting, or his countless other secrets... he just wants to feed his new friends, damnit!

After the Merge shatters Ninjago into fractured worlds, the ninja are thrown to opposite ends of a realm they barely recognize. Kai crawls out of the Land of Monsters—starved, scarred, and changed. And so it was decided: a trip. More specifically a ski, early-Christmas slash surprise birthday trip. All the way up in the Wailing Alps as normal people who didn't have to carry the weight of the entire world on their backs, driving regular old cars the Kai way - sans handy technology.
Now if only they could get there. Alive. Considering Cole was in a perpetual bad mood (amplified by all the decisions the team made to disconnect them from heroic lives, which included estimated two days of driving thanks to his new favourite navigation) and Kai was determined to break through it with a lot of burnt CDs.It's a pain in the heart

“Guys!! Come on this isn’t funny” Kai yelled. They were on a mission, a simple stake out… but they got ambushed and he got separated from the team. He’s injured and fatigued, his coms are broken and he doesn’t know where he is. He keeps walking what he thinks is… west? Maybe? He doesn’t know, ‘shit. Is this even the right way? God my head is killing me’ he thought to himself as he stumbled and fell flat on his face. Laying the for a moment to rest he suddenly hears a twig breaking to his right. His head whips around to the source of the sound to see two dark figures, draped in cloaks. “Who are you! What do you want!?” He says weakly standing up and taking a fighting position, though he knows there isn’t much he can really do this hurt. The two figures turn to each other and nod, pulling down their hoods, revealing their identities to the red ninja. “Long time no see huh, red ninja?” Stepping out from the shadows was Krux and Acronix.
Krux and Acronix are back and need a certain fire ninjas ‘help’, even if he doesn’t want to help them. Torturing him physically and mentally, they break him down so they can use him for their cause.
This is also kinda inspired by the song ‘Alone In The Darkness’ by SIAMÉS. -
