Hunk and Lance have been friends since they were little. They did everything together and were basically like brothers. It lessened after high school, but they still kept in touch. But it was Hunk's 21st birthday, important for his Samoan heritage, and Lance wasn't going to miss it for the world. Especially not when he had a huge surprise for his bestie.

"It'll be fine, babe," Keith said as he rose his heels a little to kiss Lance's jaw. "This is your best friend. He's gonna be ecstatic, even if it's his party."

Lance didn’t even look at him. He was looking at Keith.
“Keith,” he said, an odd quality in his voice. “Next time you have an important, private conversation, make sure your comms are off.”
Keith stared in confusion for a minute. Pidge let out a near-silent oh shit and Hunk’s jaw dropped. It was then that it clicked. Keith could feel all the blood leaving his face.
Lance… Lance heard all of that.

As a civilian Lance tries to keep his secret identity hidden while he works in a coffeeshop which is visited by his mortal enemy, Keith, every day.

Keith is a successful hero under the alias 'Blade'. Hero work is easy, he knows how to fight and loves the thrill of a good chase. What isn't easy is seeing your crush everyday who apparently hates your guts.
For some reason Keith agrees when the so called vigilante 'Tailor' suggests to join forces, although he is annoying.

It was supposed to be a simple mission—fly in, disable the Galra outpost, fly out. But, because of course, nothing ever goes to plan when Lance and Keith are involved. One ambush, two malfunctioning lions, and one very unfortunate crash-landing later, they’re stranded on an uncharted jungle planet with no backup, no comms, and no way out.
Now, they have to survive long enough for the team to find them. Which would be fine—except for the part where Keith is frustratingly competent, Lance is refusing to admit that maybe he needs help, and the jungle seems way too quiet for comfort.
They’re rivals. Not friends. Definitely not anything else.

“Oh, you fucking —”
“Boys,” Shiro interrupts sharply.
They both jump.
“One meal,” the Black Paladin sighs, hand sliding down his face. “Just — one fucking meal, where you two don’t fight.”
“I don’t get it,” Pidge comments, irritated furrow to her brows. “You guys hang out, like, all the time. You’d think you’d be able to talk without jabbing at each other.”
“I think they’re just weirdos,” Hunk says flatly looking at them with a very pointed expression. “I think they just enjoy going at each other. Like weirdos.”
Beside him, Lance averts his eyes, biting his lip to hold back laughter. Keith looks away so he doesn’t have to do the same.
“Sorry, Shiro,” Keith says, working hard to keep his tone neutral. “I’ll do my best to not rise to Lance’s bait.”
“And I’ll try really hard to be okay with stinky mullet’s presence as a whole,” Lance promises.
Shiro only shakes his head and sighs harder. Keith reaches over and pinches his boyfriend’s thigh in revenge.

“Hey.”
Keith gets to his knees, half-shuffling across the mattress. He leans over the edge, closer to Lance’s curled up form, and raises an eyebrow, amused. “Leandro. You are not being serious right now.”
The silence continues to grow. Keith can almost feel an actual chill, there’s so much iciness leaking from Lance right now.
(He also has the only blanket, but whatever. Tomato tomato.)
“Baby.”
“If you never want to sleep with me again that’s fine,” Lance says tersely.

“Shiro, do you know if Keith’s gonna be here?” Lance asks, sidling up to the older man where he’s talking with Curtis, Allura, and Reyner.
Shiro turns to look at him and shrugs, “I don’t know. I would imagine so.”
Matt waltzes up behind the two and informs them, “Yeah, they’re on their way. With Kolivan and Krolia.”
...
And a varga later, Lance watches as Keith walks in with Krolia, Kolivan, and Acxa. Their arm is linked with Acxa’s and they walk in front of Krolia and Kolivan. Keith turns around and says something to their mom and Kolivan after they step fully into the room. The two leaders nod and Keith and Acxa, arms still inked, head towards where Matt and Romelle are standing by the same column as earlier.
And Lance is incredibly grateful when he watches Keith slip their arm out of Acxa’s. Their lack of contact makes whatever anger or jealousy fade in his chest, though it immediately rears back up again when Keith instead walks over and clasps hands with Matt while Acxa moves to lean one shoulder against the column with a smile on her face as he talks to a blushing Romelle.

Summary
He tries in the split-second he has to grind his board to a stop, putting all his weight on one foot to force the wood and wheels to scrape to a stop. It works, kind of, but his body keeps its momentum, sending him crashing for the guy. At the last second the guy notices Lance’s falling at him, and yelps, twisting away slightly as Lance hits the ground, sprawled on his ass, phone knocked from his pocket and earbuds ripped from his ears.
Brain tipping out of his ears, too, because the guy Lance has nearly hit is cute as all hell, and holy shit is Lance losing his ability to think at frightening speeds.
“Hi,” he says, putting an arm behind him to balance and untensing slightly.
The guy smiles, which softens his whole face; big indigo eyes sparking with amusement and pierced lip quirking up slightly.
“Hi yourself."

“You know what your problem is?” Keith mutters, angrily swiping his hand through his battle plans to delete them and pulling up new blueprints.
Lance grins smugly, placing his hands under his chin and his elbows on the table. He blinks slowly, then opens half-lidded eyes towards Keith.
“Enlighten me,” he says.
“You,” Keith continues, as if Lance had not spoken, “are really cute, so no one ever told you to shut your fucking pie-hole.”
