For ten years, Catra has struggled with grief and rage at being abandoned by Adora. All of her feelings come to a boiling point when she finds Adora alive and well, working in a nearby diner.
For Adora, it’s a different story. Ten years ago, she was dragged into the woods by a pack of wolves and no one could save her. For ten years, she’s been a human during the summer months, and a wolf in the winter. Only… winters are getting shorter and the wolf is lingering longer and longer. All throughout her struggles, she has never forgotten Catra.

She could still feel the way Adora had taken her hands and gently rubbed over the ridges with her thumb. The way she looked so deep into Catra’s mismatched eyes.
“But you’re my best friend. My everything. The only one who’s been there through it all.”
Catra had managed some sort of sweet nothing in reply, but was deeply shaken. Even now, in the backseat of Scorpia’s car, the words still rotated through her skull.
“My everything.”

“You are not working today. Not even at Lashor’s. You’re taking the day to sleep and relax and do sweet fuck all.”
Adora groans. “Okay.”
“And we are not getting a mouse to feed cheese to.” Catra goes to brush Adora’s blonde hair behind her ear, even though there’s not a strand out of place thanks to Adora’s deftness with ponytails. “But we can — if we’re careful — maybe make some friends. Or whatever.”
Adora feels her heart jump at that. “Really?”
“Yeah. What’s a new year for, if not new things?”

Catra and Adora are no big deal. They’re a hard-working couple living on a houseboat in the canals of Bright Moon City. They want to own a pet. Hang out with friends. Make friends.
They don’t really want to be stalked by weird voices over a helpline, or blackmailed by neighbourly private detectives, or even lead armies of queer people through the steets, but that all ends up happening as well.
It’s as the saying goes, probably: with the new year — with a promising new job, a tiny intruder, and a whole series of events that threaten to capsize everything and reveal the truth lurking below the surface — comes new Resolutions.

With Hordak as The Horfather (in a parody of The Hogfather by Sir Terry Pratchett, GNU) and Entrapta as his assistant, the pair travel by sleigh led by genetically altered pookas around Etheria to deliver gifts before dawn. With some social experiments, a lot of enthusiasm and a few surprises along the way, they end the night happy with the work they've done and satisfied that belief still exists on Etheria.
Chapter two is an extended version with extra scenes so feel free to read in any order.

They had everything they needed for season 6 and still decided to make terrible financial decisions. This is my hat in the ring to fix it and take some of these things to their logical conclusion. May the Muse bless me, and God have mercy on my soul.
That being said.
After the fall of Hoard Prime, the best friend squad (Catra now included) embark on an entirely new quest. To bring magic back to the universe. As usual they find out pretty quickly that they have no idea what they're doing. Luckily Catra has conned Entrapta into helping, and if no one has any direction Entrapta will find it. In the void of Hoard Prime a new BigBad^tm will take his place. The BFS steals an even bigger ship capable of helping in their quest called The Arcanium. The stakes will be higher, the villains more competent, the power ups flashy, and lore exposition the likes of which this show never saw. So come along (for my hubris) for fun, angst, shenanigans. and decisions that will literally make or break the universe. -

After Horde Prime's defeat, Princess Entrapta accidentally activates a hidden First One's contingency plan and a locator beacon while snooping around inside of the Crystal Castle, which links with the imprisoned Skeletor through the remaining Tech left in his body after Eternia's own victory over the Horde.
Meanwhile, Princess Adora has a vision of a massive man atop a green War Tiger fighting along with She-Ra against an army from the past that threaten to destroy both magical Etheria and mysterious Eternia.
