Everything had been fairly normal up until the storm rolled around. That might not be the best wording for what happened, might make people think Viking’s problems were caused by the storm. In all honesty, he doesn’t know what caused them, just when they started.
In other words: Ruby got tube, Viking suffers for it, and nobody knows what's actually going on!

Summary
Viking stared at his conspiracy board filling his ceiling before his eyes traced back to his desk, where the rail gun lay. Today, he would present it to the class. Tonight? Well, if luck was on his side, a murder drone would be dead tonight.
He rolled over, sighing towards the wall. He just had to make it through the day, and past the doors.

Viking laughed nervously. “Yep! I mean no, no just passing through. Lost my own squad a while back, they left me you know! Saw you here and wondered what had happened. Say, what's your name murd- disassembly drone?”The murder drone stood up, saluting as he said “Oh! I'm Serial Designation A! Nice to meet you…?”

Summary
Nuke lands the killing blow on the dragon, and the gods— well, they’re upset. The gods are panicked, and worried, and they are angry. Nuke is an angel, he’s supposed to protect, to fight for the good of the people, and even if he doesn’t know it, he just potentially doomed their precious world to destruction. It doesn’t matter if it was an accident, accidents still bring disaster. The gods don’t know if he deserves the place in the world he has anymore.
Viking is nothing to the world. He can’t really interact with it, nobody can see him, nobody can hear him, he might as well not exist. Still, he watches. He observes them, the members of dominion, as they go about their lives. He watches their conflicts with a vague interest. A part of him hopes that maybe, just maybe, if by a miracle, he were able to be something in the world… maybe his observations would serve him well. He follows them to the end, and he watches. They fight amongst themselves just as much as they fight the dragon. Part of him thinks it’s all a bit ridiculous, the way they fight each other, but also, in a way… he gets it.
And then, Something shifts.
The dragon screams out a final, dying roar.
Viking sees an opportunity. He takes it. -
