High school is never easy, as much as it may seem to classmates and peers. Virgil, Logan, Patton, Roman, Remus, and Janus are six students with almost entirely separate backgrounds and cliques. Caught up in their own lives and secrets, the only thing that could possibly bring them together is group therapy, held by none other than the infamous Dr. Picani. He knows they will be his most difficult challenge and is unafraid to help these high school seniors in any way that he can. As long as they don't kill each other along the way.

She’d grown up here, knew everyone, had a story for every street. When she died, coming back felt… unavoidable. Like the town was pulling them in whether Virgil wanted it or not. They bought her childhood house, the old one with the sagging porch, and tried to pretend it was just a place to live and not a reminder of everything they’d lost.

Summary
Logan doesn't intend to be introverted, but he just doesn't think he meshes well with his five roommates. They all have their own preferences, personalities, pre-established friendships, and it's hard not to feel like they're only inviting him to hang out with them out of formality considering they all live under the same roof. However, Logan's roommates do genuinely want to spend time with him, and are continuously saddened by his polite rejections and refusals. So, they all individually come up with the same plan to get him to spend time with them: turning him into an object, and forcibly bringing him along. And, fortunately, Logan finds he quite enjoys being literally objectified, manhandled, and treated so intensely! Who knew objects felt so good all the time?
