Summary
*In the Real World, a new game was in the works, said to be a mind-blowing VR game where you adventure in a world full of monsters, befriending them and fighting others in order to survive in a wild world. However, when the time came for the game to be uploaded to the net, something went very wrong. The creators of the game suddenly went missing as something seemed to have broken free within the studio. Massive clawmarks could be seen with spattering of blood. Everything was destroyed. No security footage could be found.
The Digital World had existed for some time during its creation, changing and reforming as those known as "The Dev Team" continued to create this place. However, an event occurred where a strange location suddenly sprouted up within the world. A mysterious fortress that had a menacing aura to it that the digimon have learned to call "Hope's End". Something within was unhappy with its creation. The Digital World and the Real World were severed from each other, and soon the digimon noticed that their friends began to turn on them, infected by these strange leech-like parasites that would cling to them and corrupt their code. Turning friend against friend.

Summary
There is another world. Inaccessible by most means, that other world - the Digital World - has gone undetected for many long years. Few have visited it, and even fewer have returned.
And now there’s something really wrong with it.
When six humans fall from the sky and find themselves within this world, their only objective is to get back home. They quickly realize, though, that there’s more to their arrival than they thought when they come across strange monsters calling themselves Digimon. These humans and Digimon discover they are connected by a strange bond, and that they were summoned to save the world - except they don’t know from what.
They’re the only ones who can do it. They're determined, but whatever they’re up against is even more so - and as they progress in their journey, the past begins to reveal itself.
Sooner or later, they will be forced to confront who exactly their enemy is, and how they can save both their world and the Digital World.

Summary
Unknown to the public, there are creatures that hide within the data waves of society's electronic infrastructure. These creatures, called Digimon, are said to cause all sorts of havoc. It is the job of the Digital Emergence Suppression Team- or D.E.S.T- to keep these creatures in line, and to hide their existence. Recently, they've found a promising new recruit in a young Akatsuki Kanade, and her Partner Velocimon.
But Akatsuki doesn't take what she's told at face value. With some digging, she finds a few skeletons in D.E.S.T's closet. And after freeing one of their greatest threats, she becomes their prime target for elimination.
