Carol felt a bit like the sun, to Jessica. Without it, humanity would die, but if you looked for too long, it would blind you.
Jessica downed the rest of her drink in one shot, almost cracking the glass when she put it down. Rhodey was dancing badly, slurring his words as he gave Carol a goofy grin.
