After woken up from a ten thousand year slumber, Y/n, Allura and Coran find that the lions have found new paladins to pilot them. Not wanting to repeat history nor put any one else in danger like in the past, she keeps her princess and paladin self hidden, leaving only Allura and Coran to know her true title.
Keith, Shiro, Lance, Hunk and Pidge all came to Arus from Earth by the blue lion. After awakening Y/n, Allura and Coran, they all became the new paladins for Voltron. Keith has always been suspicious of Y/n since the moment he has met her. Throughout the battles and trainings, he has always given Y/n a hard time since she has some unanswered mysterious around her. Even so, as the days went on, Keith starts to trust her and maybe even more than what he thinks.
Will Y/n be okay giving the red lion to Keith? Does Y/n really know who she really is, or is there more for her to find out? However, the biggest question is: Will the universe really be saved from the Galra Empire?

"You... don't you remember me?" he asked, finding it simply inconceivable.
And Lance, in other circumstances, would have been amused by that reaction, but there was a little girl he had to bring back to her mother; he hadn't slept for almost twenty-seven hours and needed a break.
"No, dude, now if you want to excuse me..."
The boy turned Lance to him, their faces a short distance away, purple eyes fixed on his, and Lance's treacherous heart skipped a beat.
"Blue Spirit, I'm Red Warrior. Do you really not remember me?"
At that point, Lance began to break out in a cold sweat. Of course, he couldn't remember him. Lance wasn't the real one.
(In which, due to a stupid stunt, the seventeen-year-old Lance dies and finds himself in the body of a villain of his best friend's favourite graphic novel, trying not to attract too much attention. Too bad for Lance, Keith doesn't make things easy for him at all.)

If anyone had told Lance that at nineteen, he’d be forced to make the difficult decision to give up going to college in favor of working three jobs to financially support his family, he wouldn’t have believed them in a million years. Even if they’d tried to tell him six months ago, the response would have remained the same. Independence was something he’d clawed out for himself as an omega in an alpha’s world; the second he’d been old enough to get a job to pay for his own things, he’d leapt at the chance, buying his first cell phone and paying for a plan out of his own pocket. The other part of it was an effort to lighten the financial load on his mother; being a single omega mother to three children wasn’t easy, which was a huge reason he was doing what he was.

Keith's heart raced as he shoot up in bed, his hands clutched at his chest, fingers digging into shirt then skin. His eye were wide and wild as he panted, tears burn hot streaks into his cheeks. His mind still swam with the memories of bodies, blood, the scent of burnt flesh, and the convulsive pain of lightning in his skin.
Keith was so sure it had happened, that it was real, but he wasn't in space. He was in his bed, in his dad's old shack. There were no aliens, no magic witch that tortured with magic and killed his friends. It wasn't real, because Keith had no friends named Pidge or Hunk or Allura or Lance. The only friend he had was dead, and he wasn't coming back.
But it was. It was real, and now he had the chance. The chance to fix his mistakes, and save people that he couldn't before. Even if it killed him.
