Whilst on a mission to destroy a wraith nursery, John and Todd are attacked and stranded on a planet without a working stargate. Fortunately, a Hive in Todd's alliance picks up Todd's distress signal and comes to get them. Unfortunately. These wraith are as unfriendly and untrusting as all the rest - and Todd has a secret they cannot find out. Turns out, working with the Lanteans is not only strange but punishable by death. If the pair can't lie their way through their time aboard, they won't ever get home. John has no choice but to trust his dubious companion, and vice versa.
Easier said than done, but even imprisoned and heading toward certain death, Todd has a few tricks up his sleeve. They make a break for it and fall face-first into a journey that will fling them across the galaxy, further and further from safety and from what they both knew. Desperate to get back to their respective lives, John and Todd must embark on a long and dangerous quest with no hope for survival except each other.
Set in season five after "Search and Rescue" and before "The Queen"

Kůže pod jeho dlaní se napjala a otřásla, zatímco muž zcela zkameněl. „Trpěl jsem, když jsem tě cítil tak blízko a zároveň se tě nemohl dotknout, Shepparde." Jmenovaný polekaně vytřeštil oči.
„P-proč by ses mě chtěl dotýkat? Když ne z důvodu se nakrmit, tak proč?" blekotal poplašeně. Připravil se, že sáhne po zbrani, ale jakákoli úvaha týkající se možného Toddova spoutání a zajetí se mu vykouřila z hlavy ve chvíli, kdy se jeho krmná ruka přimkla k podplukovníkově tváři a v jemném pohlazení se mu otřela o krátké strniště.
„Protože jsi mým druhem a já se s tebou toužím spojit od chvíle, kdy se naše osudy propletly v Kolyově vězení."Na základně se ztrácejí lidé, což však není Sheppardův největší problém, jak se zdá. Musí se rozhodnout, co je pro něj skutečně důležité.

Summary
Lieutenant, Kayna Neric, is on her first assignment at Atlantis. Her skills in combat landed her a position, guarding Todd the wraith, during a routine transport mission, to a remote outpost. The puddle jumper was attacked by a unknown source, and they are forced to land on a uncharted planet. Only two survive the landing, one Wraith and one Human. Just as the two survivors find comfort in one another, rescue comes and they are separated. The story will (so far) follow Kayna's journey, as she finds a strange acceptance, among Wraith.

-Stranded, heavily injured, and alone, a Wraith Commander is forced to survive the harsh conditions of a brutal human planet stuck in a perpetual winter. His fighter has crash landed in a desolate field, after he attempted to battle for territory of another Queen.
Within his darkest desires to find the planet called earth, he first must find the planets Stargate, and return to his Queen and Hive Ship. In order to do that, he must depend on the only human female he has come into contact with. A strange human healer, with the ability of foresight. The neighboring villagers call her kind (the fae) for their secretiveness, knowledge, and there resilience to abstain from any human contact.
While the Commander must wait for the winter blizzard to subside (30 days), he forms a relationship with his silent caretaker and comes to meet others of there kind. However, his relationship is bound to give him more trouble than it is worth. Causing a deep internal conflict with himself. Or is it?
