Summary
Tarrlok's world has already collapsed to utter shambles, but is turned upside down again when his brother asks him to join him. Yet, he doesn't think that their "sad story" should continue and takes the opportunity to try and take them both out. But things are, as per usual, much more complicated that they seem, and while Republic City Forces try to figure out the scheme behind the sudden and inexplicable disappearance of the two brothers, worldviews clash and a tentative understanding is formed.
AKA: I love angst and conflicted characters and try to bring fruit to some of the fantastic ideas and plot points of the show-runners that got left on the wayside when they made the show. Part of a bigger AU series together with PierceTheVeils where we explore what might have been if our interpretation of the potential of the series was fulfilled more.
