Summary
He lifts the shaker, snapping his wrist so the ice rattles sharp and loud over his shoulder. The cold metal bites into his palm. "So, what's your name, newbie?"
"Steve." Eddie strains the cocktail into a waiting glass, the liquid settling smooth and pale. He slides it across the bar. Steve watches it like it might detonate, fingers hovering before he finally wraps them around the glass. "Yours?"
"Eddie." He taps the bar once, twice, then leans forward against it, the edge pressing into his hips.
"And just so you know, Steve, if you're gonna order drinks with names like that, you gotta own it. Look 'em dead in the eye. Show no fear. We prey on weakness round here." He smiles, slow and crooked, enjoying the way Steve's shoulders tense and relax all at once.OR: I got sad that Eddie never got to see Steve in his S5 epilogue outfit and his stupid corduroy jacket so I made them fuck about it

He’s genuinely begun to give up hope by the time he sees it. Well, he rather hears it first. The familiar rattle of chains that speaks of Eddie Munson’s appearance is what reaches his ears to start, followed by an ‘Oh my god, Harrington- Steve, look!’ from someone beside him. His eyes have finally locked onto the reason for the stir though.
Eddie Munson is wearing his goddamn jacket- And he’s fucking modified it, too.
The metalhead seems to simultaneously notice Steve and clock the exact moment the jock realizes at the same time, because he breaks out into that stupid shit-eating grin and begins to cackle before starting to run.
Or: Steve Harrington makes aquantainces with Eddie Munson, who steals his letterman jacket and makes him feel things.
