Kids are the joy of life, cousin Mikoto once said, presenting him with the ugliest, wrinkliest, most eyesoreful infant possible. Itachi opened his eyes then, and, almost as if he could read Obito’s thoughts and decipher the grimace of disgust on his face, started crying and screeching like a captured bijou - Obito would know, he heard that sound many times by now.
So that was a fucking lie.
He forces himself not to comment on the armoury that the kid’s bed had become - he can allow Sasuke to keep some paranoia, as a treat - and instead tugs at the covers.
Three more shuriken and a kunai fall to the floor.
“I’m happy right here. Can you teach me katon?” Sasuke tells him, as if Obito isn't going through every thing he knows about anger management in his head right now.
“Kid, seriously,” Obito rubs at his temples, “take it from me, only having training as your hobby will lead to a burnout,” or, to becoming a terrorist that gets thrown into the past against his will.
Or; after the fight with Kaguya, instead of dying, Obito finds himself in the Uchiha compound week post the massacre.
He ends up taking care of Sasuke.Or; Obito repents by becoming a parental figure.

Peak peak peak peak. Obito, after his last sacrifice for naruto, time travels to a week after the uchiha massacre & bumps into sasuke. Adotion occurs and obito chooses the path of redemption, whatever form that could be for someone like him. Also hes incredibly weak to big puppy eyes ans adopts like 4 children, now karin too (chp22)
I LIKE HOW OBITO STILL GRAPPLES WITH SUICIDAL IDEATION AND although he tries to keep it hush hush, the guilt still seeps through and everyone can kinda see it. Its a nice play on how obito is still so so expressive
Also team 7s growing up strong🥹Minato, kushina, shisui, & yahiko r brought back to life (nagato used his rinnegan & obito uses 1 of his eyes to izanagi nagato) minato & kushina find out that obito was the masked man
KUSHINA & MINATO AS OBTIO APOLOGISTS SO REAL😭😭 Naruto tries to follow sakura's defense on getting lee to still participate the last round but he deadass lets it slip that hes Familiar w/ Tsunade
Jiraiya being both a distant, avoidant "godfather" AND condescending is so annoying. Whatever .
Kurama being protective over naruto getting called names, going "thats my brother bruh on GOD ill beat ur ass" 🥹peak
Go my naruto family reunion & sasuke jealous of sakura being trained by itachi+kisame & sakura jealous of the (potential) adoption of gaara by obito that naruto was prolly planning
Obito finally reveals hes alive only ehen kakashi was like. Under kotoamatsukami or smt

PLRASE IM SO???? 1! 1!!! INTO THIS. THIS IS SUCH A FUN TROPE THAT NEEEDDDSSS MORE FICS AND THIS IS SUCH A GOOD FIC WITH AMAZING PLOTS AND AND AND its such a marvel!!!!!
Its so great seeing all their personalities and how accustomed we get to their original roles,,,, seeing them cursed is weirdly wrong and the unsettling feeling of not belonging and not feeling quite right is soo good.
I NEED to know spokes problem and the conflict between comedy and tragedy,,,, itll be so great and spokes almost bipolar behaviour is SO suspicious. He has a stronger connection to admin than anyone else (parallels of spoke being admin in LS once? and using exploits/hacks?)
