Summary
Life is a strategy game for Thomas, always has been. He prides himself on his intellect: the ability to step back, evaluate each detail logically, and make the most rational, thoughtful decision. But there is no intellectualizing what's happening between him and Micro. There's no rational explanation for the feeling in Thomas's gut whenever Micro so much as looks in his direction. Except that he has, somehow, fallen head over heels for Micro.
Thomas has a crush. And he's crushing hard.

Saparata did what had to be done. He struck Fluixon down in the colosseum and ended the encapsulating war that begun with the two of them. Finally reached peace among the islands.
Only for Saparata to wake up somewhere completely new, with the events of the past nothing but a distant memory, and a shiver down his spine that suggested things would be very different this time around.

Thomas does not know Micro. In a way, Thomas does not particularly care for Micro.
Except that Fluixon and Saparata decide to get into a fight that results in them drifting apart. Now, Thomas is tasked with gathering information about the white-haired boy by infiltrating the Canadian Cartel.
The Canadian Cartel, the group Micro hangs around. It doesn't help the fact that Thomas and Micro are seated next to each other that semester.
AKA, Thomas gets sidetracked, learns more than he thought he would, and just maybe, he learns how to love on the way. It's too bad that the world seems to have it out for Thomas—Micro is more protected than he thinks.

He wasn’t a sickly pale colour this time, a rosy, alive tint painted his cheeks. A nostalgic cocky grin was plastered on his face (though it began drooping with each second Saps took to respond).
Saparata almost expected no noise to come out when he tried to speak. “Where… where the hell are we?”
“Detroit.”
Hvyrotation barked out from the couch. He received a quick slap from Gotoga as a response.
The other conspiracy members, (why were they here??) snickered as if it were a sarcastic answer.
But Saparata had never heard of a ‘Detroit’ in his life.
Or
Saparata opens his eyes to a universe where all of his friends are alive and he finally gets the chance to cone to terms with their deaths.
Oh and hes also dating Fluixon in this universe.. -
