Bruce has been doing pretty well lately. Everyone was safe and healthy. Even Bruce himself felt good; happy even.
Of course, a rogue magician just had to ruin it all and drag him right back to the lowest moment of his life.
There's only one person who knows how to see him through it. They will do it again, even though they swore they would never wear a dead kid's name again.
