Megumi's ocean blue eyes had careened toward Satoru, standing in their living room with his soiled boots on and cuts on his knuckles because of Miguel's whip. He had a bowl in one hand, and a gallon of milk in the other. Satoru is sure he's going to eat cereal because why wouldn't he? He's home, in the home Satoru placed him in. The home he never got to have because Zen'in Toji was a piece of shit and so was Tsumiki's mother and because Satoru killed him—

The silence stretched between the pair of them while Gojo avoided eye contact, with both Geto and Shoko down the street.
“That was harsh,” Geto said eventually.
Gojo rolled his eyes.
He should’ve expected a talking too, Geto was too morally apt, or worse, obsessed with being morally correct to let something like this go.
“Yeah yeah yeah, Shoko will probably try to make me apologise… I don’t particularly want to do it but–”
“Not what you said, you idiot, Utahime.” Geto rolled his eyes.
Gojo blinked.
“I was calling her weak and…” Gojo trailed off not remembering what else he said.
“Well you shouldn’t have been doing that but it didn’t warrant claiming you were going to die alone.” Geto pointed out.
