Well, that wasn’t fair, making him feel sorry for someone he didn’t know. Sure, whenever a new small mark or even painful burn of his soulmate's injuries showed up he felt bad about it but it's not like his ‘other half’ was taking very good care of themself, either. He was not the only problem here, even if he was a big part of it.
