Following the Second Quartell Quell, Panem enters a silent but devastating crisis: a pandemic originating in the Capitol—possibly stemming from biological mutations used in the arena—spreads to the districts through the bodies of the fallen tributes.

It has been 2 weeks since the Quarter Quell. Katniss has been captured by a vengeful blood-thirsty Snow. What makes things even worse is that she is 8 months pregnant with her first child and she is terrified of losing her to Snow. She is rescued but things aren't so happy. Katniss knows Coin wants her dead and fears that Coin will use her newborn baby as a weapon against her. This story covers the events of Mockingjay in the trilogy, while also covering some major Everlark romance scenes that are only covered in the books.
