Summary
Anakin was saved by Sideous, taken away after the sand people attack his family and his mother dies. He is put into the Vadar suit to save his life, or so he thought. In an accident, his mask is broken and without his breathing apparatus, he is sure he's dead. His body heats up and feels like he's burning from the inside out and he's sure he's bleeding somewhere.
But the Obi-Wan Kenobi comes along and makes the pain go away and Anakin realizes he's been living a lie.

“Anakin?” Obi-Wan asked, gaze striping the room methodically to locate the man in question.
A lump on the bed grumbled something unintelligible in response, and it took that long for Obi-Wan’s nose to process what it had smelled. Anakin’s scent had grown fainter in recent months—Obi-Wan assumed it was simply another facet of the heavy maturity that had settled on Anakin’s shoulders during the war, but it did make it more difficult to read his Padawan (not his Padawan, anymore) at a glance.
Deep in that faint scent, the one which barely drifted to Obi-Wan even in Anakin’s room, where he had slept and sweat all night, was sickness. Anakin was ill, and the longer Obi-Wan stood just inside the threshold, the more illness he could parse out.
Anakin smelled wrong.(Anakin's gone feral. Obi-Wan has to treat him.)

When Obi-Wan stepped up to Vader’s cell, the Sith was pacing. That, in itself, was not unusual. What was unusual, however, was the unsteady pace of his footsteps, the way he seemed to sway ever so slightly.
His angelically pretty face twisted, predictably, into a snarl upon catching sight of Obi-Wan.
He looked like a predator ready to pounce.
He looked as if he might keel over if he tried.
Vader has been captured by the Jedi; it should be cause for celebration. Unfortunately, there are some complications.
