The resulting cut by Muse made Matt groan, the blade chafing the previously broken skin and wounding him even deeper.“It's kind of ironic- the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen with a cross on his chest.”
Matt realized that the cut was indeed a cross now. Two perpendicular wounds reopened above his heart to create a mocking testimony of his faith.
He wasn't even sure if God could save him from Muse now.
