Summary
With the external threats neutralized and all the Grisha secured safely, Alina and Aleksander are redirecting their attention towards rebuilding Ravka. What should have been an moderately easy task becomes severely complicated due to return of Aleksander's old nemesis—Mikhail Lanstov, the late king Pyotr's vengeful older brother. Meanwhile a Fjerdan secret invasion is also looming over the horizon.
With Mikhail's arrival, alliances begin to shift and old bonds are resurfacing, threatening to ruin the hard earned peace they fought for. While Nikolai remains unaware of the growing danger near him, Aleksander and Alina are fighting to restore order back in Ravka all the while struggling with their own complex feelings.
Will they succeed? Will Ravka be saved? Will the Grisha be finally liberated? Will Alina and Aleksander's complicated love restore? Read more to find out.

Picking up from where we left off. The newly-healed Alina is on a mission to stop the new drug from being successfully developed. Unlike her previous morally-good persona, this Alina no room for forgiveness. She is ready to dole out justice when needed. She is not just coming for the Lanstovs but also for the Fjerdans and Shu-Han's royals. Now that she has finally realised her purpose and has fully embraced it, she is ready to rise in blazing glory.
