A scant few years after the Clone Wars and the failed creation of the Empire, Councillor Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master Anakin Skywalker, and Knight Ahsoka Tano are sent to a small planet known as Lazarus on the Outer Rim to investigate a subset of humans known as Grisha.
In Ketterdam, Kaz Brekker hears of a meeting of the leaders of all the nations, and he and his crows join in as part of the Van Eck party.
In an attempt to convince the planet to join the Republic, they present a young man known as JJR from Coruscant as their new senator.
There were only two issues: it seemed the Mandalorians had gotten to them first, and JJR stood for Jordan Johannus Rietveld.Series

“We should go down before he has a fit,” Nina said. The three of them filtered out of the flat, leaving Wylan swaying sleepily in the bathroom doorway. Before he left, Jesper spun around at the door and smiled at Wylan. “See you downstairs, Wy.”
Wylan’s heart stuttered. Alright. Maybe this road trip wouldn’t be all bad.

After walking along the roads of shops for a few minutes, Wylan can can smell coffee. Plenty of coffee, too; it was far from a weak smell. He immediately set out in search for the source of this scent, because why on earth are people drinking no small amount of caffeine at this time— it may be an area full of college kids, but, last Wylan checked, nobody drank a whole tanker full of coffee at twelve in the morning. As he walked further down the streets in his search, he saw it; a cafe, clearly open from the lights on and a couple of baristas in uniforms inside. It definitely looked cozy, and it was quiet, which is to be expected at this time at night (–or is it technically morning? Does it even matter?)
Wylan has to now decide whether or not to satiate his curiousity, or whether to do the much more sensible thing and listen to his anxiety telling him that he should turn around and walk right back to his flat
