As soon as I wake up, the coppery, almost tangy, smell of blood fills the small room, coating my nostrils.. This can mean one of two things; One—a fight broke out in the middle of the night that somehow woke no one up, someone stabbed someone else with a shard of glass they found on the floor or some other sharp object, and today, we have to do body cleanup on top of everything else. Hooray. Or, the much more likely option, someone got the Plague again.
I sit up straight, gaze sweeping the room, and sure enough, someone lies on the ground, shaking as if suffering from a seizure, lying in a puddle of his own blood, silently suffering. I sigh inwardly. Once they get to this point, to the point blood will ooze from their eyes, mouths, ears, noses, pores, everything, it’s impossible to save them, and horrible as it might be, better to put them out of their misery.OR
A pair of siblings living in a prison desperately try to survive being hit with a Plague, a man who knows far too much than he should, a trio of traumatized kids, and an amount of pain no person should be forced to bear.

He sloppily punched in the combo for his locker and tore it open, deciding he may as well go about his day like a normal person (for once) and get to class on time, when a badly folded paper floated into his face. He sputtered, cursing whoever had the audacity to prank him, when he read the message it contained. In the note, sprawled in messy handwriting suggesting panic and urgency, lay an only slightly creepy message:
“Save yourself while you still can.”

How could she let it slip so casually? Like it wasn’t a big deal, like it didn’t make Dabi freeze in place and unwillingly remember another voice calling him brother years ago.
“Come on, you don’t want me as a brother. I messed it up pretty bad the first time.”or, 5 times Dabi doesn't acknowledge Toga as his sister + 1 time he does.

He curses himself sitting on the bathroom floor, back leaned against the stall door. He reaches for the toilet paper with trembling hands, blows his nose, coughing at the acidic burn in his throat. It’s not just his hands that’s trembling, his whole body is shaking, heat spreading all over in waves, sweat trickling down his face along with the tears forcing their way out from his eyes. He can’t tell if it’s from the purging or if he’s actually crying.

“Is this your plan for all of eternity?” the mystery boy asked, looking almost amused at Jason’s wandering. “Sneaking out of Elysium and haunting your loved ones?”
Jason turned, refusing to let himself get riled up. Instead, he glanced over at where Thalia began to make a paper airplane and then looked back at his apparent stalker.
“I didn’t sneak out,” he said. “I have permission from Pluto to leave as I wish. It is my right as a spirit of Elysium.”
The boy clicked his tongue. “I see,” he said, and looked at Thalia with a sad sort of smile. “And how is that going?” Jason didn’t answer. He didn’t have to. He didn’t know who this was - if it was a god, spirit, or something else entirely. “Do you know who I am?” the stranger asked as if reading his mind.
Jason ignored him. It was time to go. He wouldn’t enjoy his time with Thalia if he was being harassed for the entirety of it. Could he visit Piper again? Or would this guy follow him there too?
Just as he stepped away, the boy laughed. “Luke Castellan,” he called. “If you were wondering.”

Jason is trying to have a productive death. Unfortunately, a certain son of Hermes is making his afterlife harder than it needs to be.
