Hayden flicked on the television and before the retort could even leave his mouth- he saw the headline. Ilya Rozanov hospitalized and believed to be in critical condition. Critical condition.

    Shane Hollander came apart at that- he had to get there. He had to get to him. There's only the slight problem that no one knows about them.

    Shane gets exactly enough alcohol to sand down his edges, and Ilya spends the whole night watching him laugh with strangers like it's the only thing in the room worth his attention. Then Shane decides they need to ride the mechanical bull. Together. Facing each other. In front of the GM, the strangers, and probably sponsors. Ilya says no. Shane says please. Ilya always says yes in the end.
