A hand caught the stool, wrenching it out of his hands and he stumbled, catching himself on the wall and staring up into the most piercing golden eyes he’d ever seen, surrounded by white hair, two swords, and-

“You’re a witcher,” he gasped out, before remembering the stool that he’d just swung at the man’s head. “Oh shit, you’re not one of them-I’m so sorry, I had no idea-” He stopped talking as the man glared at him, and he realized he was rambling.Aka, I wanted an excuse for Geralt and Jaskier's first meeting to be Jaskier swinging a chair at Geralt's head.

Summary
They’d left Cintra behind them a week previously when it happened. Geralt was out in the woods hunting dinner, while Jaskier tended the fire, Roach grazing off to the side. Jaskier was humming to himself when a sword appeared at his throat, and he swallowed.
“Stand up, and keep your hands where I can see them,” a deep voice said behind him. Jaskier got to his feet. “Good. Now what do you think you’re doing with my brother’s horse?”
AKA: After Cintra, Jaskier and Geralt run into Eskel, and have an important conversation.
