Viktor spares him a glance before returning to his favorite spot.

When Viktor makes outstanding plans he expects them to be kept.
He did not march twenty five of his best battle bots out onto the bridge of progress and into Piltover proper to be stood up.
And he certainly didn’t break into his old laboratory in the academy to be met with the business end of sheriff Caitlyn Kirraman’s rifle.
Viktor is above such things as emotional outbursts now, has been for years- the metallic brain grafts and emotional suppressors have seen to that- still he can admit, it’s not entirely logical to think the sheriff looks particularly stupid in her bespoke top hat.
But it is an incredibly stupid looking hat.

Jayce did his best not to choke on his own tongue as all the attention in the room suddenly turned to him.
He felt himself flush red as he nodded, coughing politely into the crook of his elbow to buy himself time, and hoping that Viktor wouldn’t burst out laughing when he heard what Jayce was about to say.
“Yeah, Uh I mean- Yes! Nothing to worry about there! Omega and Beta, you know. We’re one-track mind in the lab, all science all the time.”

Teeth, teeth, teeth. Viktor’s smirk was sharp and snaggle toothed.
“Yeah.” Jayce's tongue was heavy in his mouth even as his confidence grew “Of course. You get off on it.”
Viktor’s eyes dared him to go on and Jayce, ever the people pleaser, let it all come tumbling out.
“You grew up watching way too many I love Lucy reruns V. You wanna come home to dinner every night, the kids and pets put to bed, and your little stay at home husband in something slinky.”
The words curled triumphant in Jayce’s mouth, they tasted honey warm like victory and went down even sweeter.

In the joint space between their minds Viktor's form is as malleable as he so desires and today, although he is maybe 50 stories tall, he looks like the young man Jayce spent late nights with in a laboratory, short hair, mischievous smile, and all.
" Coming to so soon?" Viktor croons down at him. His voice curls around the words but does not echo in the mindscape, it stays personal, almost a whisper.
Jayce yawns and rubs at his stubbled jaw with a glowing hand " Figure I left you alone long enough, wouldn't want you to get bored Vik."
A shadow is cast over Jayce's head as a single, massive, finger materializes above him to pet gently down his back.
He shivers feeling the warm pressure all over as Viktor repeats the gesture, stroking Jayce like he's a particularly interesting creature Viktor picked up from the ground.
"Hmm, I suppose you could offer me sufficient entertainment."
