Summary
Then, a giant explosion. The two teenagers startle as the cameras swing over the sea of scrambling students. Present Mic's voice, booming loudly over the shock-waves, yells a name.
"Did he just say Midoriya—"
And it is Midoriya, riding on that giant piece of robot scrap, flying into the lead ahead of Bakugou and Endeavour's kid.
Takeo's teeth have sharpened in his jaws, digging into his lip. It's only years of practice that keeps them from piercing through.
Midoriya is falling now and the lunatic hits the ground for another explosion, blasting the two powerhouses back and suddenly the three of them are out of sight, in the finishing tunnel.
And of course, in that paralyzing second, it's Midoriya who runs out first, cheering and shouting lighting up the stadium while the crowd loses its mind.
"...Bakugou is going to kill him," Matsumoto croaks.
Bakugou's old acquaintances expected to see him. They didn't expect Midoriya.

Paul didn’t want to use the word intimidating to describe Percy, per say, but Paul had spent a lot of his relationship with Sally being intimated by Percy for a number of reasons. One, within his first conversation with Sally, Paul knew exactly where any romantic partner would fall on Sally’s list of loved ones and that was squarely below her son. Absolutely fair enough, but that did mean Paul spent those early days before meeting the kid knowing that one wrong move, one bad vibe with this kid, and he had the power to end the whole relationship.
