Set sometime before S6.
Jane Jane comes to believe in spirits and the afterlife. He is an actual psychic. Since I don’t believe that human souls stay on Earth after death, communicating with the dead is not what I mean as psychic. Jane being psychic in this story means that he can communicate with/see the non-human spirits.

Summary
Monsters haven't scared Dean, not since he was a kid, but that doesn't mean he's not plagued by the nightmares of them. Not ghouls, vampires or werewolves, real monsters like John. But no, he's not going to go to therapy or try any of that psychological bullshit. Sam has tried and failed a thousand times to get him to talk about his feelings, but it never works. Yet, Sam has another idea, one he's sure will work, if he can convince Dean to give it a try.
TLDR; Sam brings Dean to a BDSM club where he meets Castiel, and Dean learns there's more than one type of therapy.
