Summary
After tireless tuning, Jax has perfected his sneering mask. The cost? Endless thinking, day in and day out, determining how to perform, when to push someone's buttons, and who to throw in front of moving trucks. The calculation is near-constant, but his fortress? Impenetrable.
Until Pomni quite literally (and accidentally) brings him to his knees.
After experimenting with her silly cartoon body, Pomni discovers she can do something pretty neat with her eyes that can stop Jax in his tracks, and he cannot stop thinking about how to make her do it again. What follows are shenanigans, a ridiculous situationship, and about a thousand excuses for why Jax definitely needs Pomni to do the spinny thing with her eyes one more time.

This is a multi-chapter romantic comedy revision of my one-shot "The Soft Parts," which takes place after where Pomni discovers she has a secret hypnosis power and Jax discovers he really likes being controlled.

Summary
Katara hates Ba Sing Se. She hates the Dai Li and she hates sitting back idly watching the people of the lower ring suffer. After weeks of little progress in finding Appa or contacting the Earth King, Katara decides to take matters into her own hands. Being the Painted Lady offers her a way to offer what little help she can without jeopardising their mission.
But when the Blue Spirit appears, things take an unexpected turn. She takes up arms with the man in the wooden mask, fighting the criminals threatening the peace she was working so hard to foster. There's an undeniable tension that flows between the two of them, and the Painted Lady finds herself drawn to the man with the husky laugh and pale hands.
Katara however, knows better. The Painted Lady might be the one to reap the pleasures of the night, but it would always be Katara who suffered the consequences.
