“Whatever. It’s fine”, Katsuki said, turning to walk away again, only for Deku to pull him back.
“What, nerd?”
Deku didn’t say anything. He just stared at Katsuki with wide eyes.
“Deku, I need to get going. What the fuck is it?”
“I- That’s- I can’t let go”.

Summary
Chrysanthemums. Flowers hold the meaning of death and are commonly used as funeral or gravestone decorations for passed loved ones. He always thought they were beautiful besides their morbid meaning.
Even the beauty of the orange chrysanthemums he coughed up from his throat captivated him.
Although slightly stained with red in the crevices, the petals and flowers still held vibrant orange hues. He had tried to hate them and conjure the ugly monsters of dread, hate, and despise within him towards the chrysanthemums growing inside his lungs, but he never could. Besides, hating the flowers that plagued his health would mean hating the one he loves.
It would mean hating Kacchan.

“Your quirk is so cool, Kacchan!” Deku exclaimed. “And pretty, too.”
Katsuki huffed with pride. “Of course it’s cool! But my quirk isn’t ‘pretty’! It’s deadly! And I’m gonna become the strongest hero with it!”
Deku giggled like an idiot. “Of course, I know that Kacchan. I’m just saying that your quirk is also very pretty when you’re not using it on others.”
Katsuki pondered for a moment and looked up from his palms, deciding that maybe ‘pretty’ wasn’t so bad of a word after all as he took in the gaze of wonder before him.
Katsuki’s breath hitched.
Deku sat in front of him, with a face full of stars as he watched the sparks fly from Katauki’s palms. The yellow light emitted from the sparks illuminated his face just right, making the young toddler appear even softer before Katsuki.
“The light coming from the sparks is so pretty!” Deku cooed, leaning closer to the soft radiance.
Yeah, Katsuki had found himself thinking. His eyes never strayed from the boy before him, engulfed in a blanket of light, Pretty.
(Or Katsuki and Izuku go to a fireworks display. Confessions ensue)

The first thing he notices is his ears. That are NOT human. They’re fucking wolf ears. He has a fluffy tail too. And long nails. And fangs. Bakugou is fucking seething and angry but it’s weirdly cute.
“Pfffft—“ Midoriya starts chuckling.
“SHUT UP! I got hit by a quirk and it’s not going to go away for days!” Bakugou growls. Midoriya still cannot contain his amusement.
