Summary
The first time Frank meets Clint Barton, they damn near get into a stupid, shitty brawl in the hallway.
It’s not the last time he almost fights Barton, although it is, objectively, the time he would’ve won by the widest margin. Barton’s in a t-shirt and sweatpants when he answers the door, looks barely nineteen, has soft hair and a soft mouth and soft, thoughtful eyes. Frank’s two tours into a career of them, and whatever softness he used to have got desiccated out of him years ago.

Summary
Clint's breath catches as Bucky's blue grey eyes slide past Natasha to burn a hole in him. "Yes ma'am," he tells her, but he doesn't take his eyes off Clint. "No biting."
"Breathe," Bruce reminds him. "You've got to breathe, Clint."
Clint tries and for a moment he thinks his lungs have failed him, but then he manages a stuttered inhale through his nose and everything is fine, it's fine.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
It's a double edged sword. Every breath is tainted with nitroglycerin.

Or the one where Clint Barton has never met Bucky Barnes before in his life, and if he says it enough maybe everyone else will believe him.

Summary
The only thing Clint Barton hates more than being benched is being the damsel in distress. But he's willing to tolerate a daring rescue when it comes from a tall, dark and handsome not-really stranger. And if he gets to spend some time with that smoking hot assassin whilst convincing him to reunite with Steve, then that’s just a bonus.
One year free from Hydra’s clutches and staying on the run has kept Bucky Barnes pretty busy. Coming back to New York, he'd intended to keep his head down and out of trouble. But here he is, keeping an eye on Clint Barton. But maybe this job is one that's worth the risk.
