Grian’s whole body ached; his feet were sore, his arms trembling with exertion, and he felt like somebody had bashed his head with a rock. And yet he kept going. He kept swinging his sword, desperately trying to keep his form clean and his swings steady through the mental and physical exhaustion clouding his mind.

- Grian, step by step, made his way to the edge of the mountain, past Pizza’s grave, until he was standing on the very edge, his tips of his shoes going over the side with nothing but below them but sand so far down that the fall would definitely kill him. The soft, warm wind of the desert kissed his cheeks and he lifted both of his arms, hugging the wind in return as it whooshed around him.
Finally, it was his turn to die.

Summary
Basically just a genshin/hunger games crossover with Venti as the main character, mild torture (physical and mental) I’ll put everything in the summary of that chapter. Most lore isn't relevant just for the sake of how the crossover stuff is going to work, although some of the archons’ lore will still be included just because they are immortal to some degree. I will be using some Hunger Games terminology but really the only crossover stuff is just the concept of the Hunger games, and will mainly be genshin stuff. Also, in this fic all of Mondstat is aware of Venti’s title as archon bc the archons are considered “representatives” of their nation/ district. This is also being written pre Natlan and Snezhnaya, so I didn’t include them very much due to my lack of info on them. Also they have technology such as TVs, speakers, and other things necessary for the Games. I just needed to make these details clear because that is kinda how the whole story starts. As the fic goes on, I'll explain more crossover details as needed. Thank you so much for being a reader!! <3
