Summary
There once was a man who fell into hell, and his name was Jack Manifold. He fell for seven days and seven nights, or for a thousand and one years, or for no more than five minutes. The point is not the span of time: the point is that he fell into hell, and he did not stop falling. He did not stop falling, that is, until he could take it no more, and decided he would simply not die.
-
In which Jack Manifold brings himself back from the dead, but his grave is not ready to let him go.
This is my fic for the Dreamoire zine!

Summary
“Maybe I did,” concedes Wilbur, and though he tries for grace, his eyes dart frantically around like a rabbit cornered, caged, returning again and again to the church doors. “And how about you, Quackity? Do you, or did you, pray?”
“As a child,” Quackity lies.
“During Doomsday,” Tubbo corrects.
“Tubbo,” says Quackity, “dude. What's your fucking problem?”
-
An exploration of the religious views of each of L'Manberg's presidents, through the eyes of the man who was vice president to two of them. In which Schlatt offers people apples, Wilbur's bad luck has him worshipping sky gods, Tubbo knows a lot about religions he doesn't believe in, and Quackity mourns.

Summary
Tommy has always known he was special. No one ever had to tell him so; he just knew, the same way he always knew when other people were special, too.
Once, he had seen a program about color blindness on the old TV in the living room. He’d been coloring at the table when his mother turned it on—she liked having background noise while she worked—and Tommy’d been transfixed, forgetting all about his crayons. It wasn’t a particularly good program, and he wasn’t particularly interested in such things, but he’d still found himself fascinated. After all, it gave him a way to describe his gift.
What Tommy can do is a bit like if everyone else in the world was color blind, and if he alone could see the colors of other people’s eyes, if he alone could tell when they glowed in the dark. It’s a simple analogy, maybe too simple, because his gift isn’t just colors: Tommy senses powers, sees them and hears them and smells them and tastes them, feels them ripple over his skin like sunlight.
-
In which Tommy Innit moves to the city, becomes the semi-famous vigilante Seer, and makes himself a found family from scratch.

Summary
games of patience: A genre of card games played by one person. Also known as solitaire.
-
The thing about train stations is that if you spend enough time in one, you will always see at least one person you think you know. Wilbur has been at this station for a very, very long time: still, for all the shifting shades with faces that vary from entirely strange to achingly familiar, faces which have taught him to expect to be mistaken in recognition, he knows he recognizes the woman at the newsstand. There is something about her, about her crows, about her face and voice and smile, that rings so true that Wilbur feels the familiarity in his bones.
"Call me Kristin," she'd told him when he'd first stumbled into the station. Her eyes held entire universes, and he couldn't help but stare.
-
In which Wilbur Soot, trapped in limbo, encounters strangers. Some he's never met, some he might as well share blood with; regardless, they are strangers in a station, ones waiting for the train, and he is incredibly alone.

Summary
“You’re not Phil,” says Tubbo, because it’s obvious, really. “Who are you?”
“Oh, good,” the person in Phil's body says, relieved, and plops down in one of the booths. “I’m Kristin. Can I have a burger?"
-
The goddess of death wants fast food, Phil's possessed, and Tubbo is grieving. They work things out.

This is the superhero AU I was always going to end up writing, made of up six oneshots, one from each of the main characters' perspectives (and possibly more from other POVS, depending on how the writing bug bites me). As always, any content made for or based on this is more than welcome, as long as you have fun making it and send it to me so I can enjoy it, too! :)

Summary
“You’re a good person, Ani,” Padmé said.
His feet sought out that ornate, gilded doorframe. They stopped him in front of it so that he could turn back with a hand on the hilt of his saber.
“I’m not,” he said. “But I’m trying to become one. Our kids are an anchor for me. I just wish I could be one for them.”
(Anakin doesn't fall, but he and Padmé don't keep custody of Luke and Leia. Anakin tries to grapple with the consensual loss of his children while trying to stay in their lives. Meanwhile, someone murders a senator.)

Summary
Luke and Leia. Kenobi remembers their names; he cradles them both as close to his chest as he can fit them and tells them that he is their uncle.
The children squirm and break away from him to tuck themselves into Cody’s ribs instead, one on each side. They don’t understand what has happened; they seem to think that this is some sort of assignment. A trip. A test.
They tuck themselves against Cody and ask him what is happening and where is Dad and when can they go home. They want to go home.
(AU where Vader keeps the twins and raises them while on Imperial fuckhead duty. The Rebellion steals them back, and Rex watches as they re-root themselves.)

Summary
The year is 1998. Australia is fucked to hell and back, but its neighbour New Zealand is doing surprisingly alright. Well, if it wasn't for the supply shortages, persistent earthquakes, and the government's increasing heavy handed attempts at censorship.
Cody, a presenter at Radio Hauraki, is particularly pissed about that last thing. And he knows just what to do about it, too — all they need is a boat. Radio Hauraki started life as pirate radio back in the sixties, what's stopping them from going back on the waves?
Also, if his coworker, Obi-Wan, could stop making his life a living hell that'd be great, but Cody is pretty sure the world will end for real before that happens.
