Summary
So Jarvis is the one who pulls her up onto her feet, presses a tool into one hand and a book into the other and tells her to create. Tells her that if the numbers and the shapes and images in her mind hurt so bad then she should build them, should give them form so that they can finally leave her alone.
Jarvis is the one who finally teaches her how to breathe.
Or
Toni Stark grows up with the tale of Icarus swirling in the back of her mind. Instead of taking it as a precautionary tale about hubris and overreaching she decides it's more about the limitations of wax.
Years later when she builds herself wings of her own she makes sure to build them out of better material.

Female Harry Potter x Erik Killmonger (N'Jadaka) - Soulmates
Harri's so excited for her 12th birthday. She's going to meet the person who's meant to be by her side. She's never had that before. Only... the boy in the dreamscape doesn't like her at all. That's okay. She's always been alone anyway, so she's not going to start being all fucking needy now. She's never got anything handed to her for free, why would it be different for her soulmate?
This work was inspired by 'like the grass catches the rain' by Tsume_Yuki (https://archiveofourown.org/works/15685254/chapters/36443814). Same paring and soulmate concept, but it's my own work and ideas after that.
XXX Will be frequent updates. I'm obsessed with this at the moment. XXX

Transmigration into any fictional universe seemed like sort of a raw deal - but she was glad not to be dead. Plus, out of all "The Boys" characters she could’ve been delt, Gecko was a pretty convenient pick in such a violent world.
Self-insert fix-it (sort of) for my silliest hyperfixation.
