“Will you dance with me, Jamil?”
Silver outstretches his hand, and Jamil stares at it. He understands what people mean, now, when all the world seems to slow down around a moment. The rich tones of a waltz seeping from the pipe organ don’t seem as loud, and the twinkling disco ball doesn’t seem to flash its’ rainbow lights as bright.
He doesn’t have to. He could take this plate and go back to Kalim, handing it off to where he’s off dancing with the Leech twins before hovering at his side and not having much fun at all. But when he thinks about it like that– he kind of has to, actually. So he puts his hand in Silver’s, allows the other to put his hand on his waist, and lets himself be led out to the dance floor.
Jamil wonders what it would be like to have something for once in his goddamn life.

Summary
This is an ongoing Voltron AU series set in an ABO (Alpha Beta Omega dynamics) futuristic world where the Paladins fought in a universal war for nearly a decade instead of three years. Keith never met Krolia and eventually returned to Earth upon established peace. He has three kids (Clara, Shiro, and Saul) with Lance, his bonded alpha. They had Clara as teenagers. This series dives deep into family, abo dynamics, established relationships and there is a whole lot of sex going on between Keith and Lance. :)
