Summary
"A temporary roommate wouldn't be so bad. Perhaps they had gotten used to the shared living space in Snaxburg. More selfishly, they could help 'one of their own' and learn. Gramble was painfully empathetic, and Floofty was not. Maybe some of his charm would rub off on them if they breathed the same air for a period."
Floofty convinces Gramble to go back to college, but there's only one problem. Gramble can't afford to live on his own, let alone drive to school without a license. Floofty impulsively makes him an offer; stay with them until he can earn enough to move out. No catch. Along the way Floofty tries to figure out this 'empathy' thing, and Gramble navigates all the confusing emotions that come with dating(?) Wiggle. But the year drags on, and things and feelings change. Hopefully, for the better.
