Jack looks at Hiccup like he doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “Are you seriously suggesting tag teaming? Us?”
“Okay yeah, it sounded more convincing in my head”, Hiccup sighs and runs a hand through his dark hair. “But I rather we direct our fists and fury at the real culprits parading around the city, than waste more of our time trying to kill each other—would spare the collateral damage as well. What do you say?”
---------Hiccup should have known peaceful days never last long enough, so when slaughtered bodies start appearing on the streets of Berk, together with the arrival of a mysterious young man named Jack, he's not surprised to find himself tangled in a web of blood, old power struggles and gnarly figures. Summary
After spending a year on the side Ash is finally given a chance to pilot a Jaeger again. Becoming part of Johto's coast defense line and getting a new co-pilot feels like a dream at first, but reality turns out to be anything but easy. Not only is his new co-pilot someone he can hardly stand, but Ash also has to eventually evaluate his reasons for fighting in a war they might not even win. Stepping into the storm outside, fighting for your life against all odds and seeing your inner demons eye to eye, it's not as easy as video games make it seem.
