Summary
During the battle of the department of mysteries, Voldemort learns of the special connection between him and Harry, linking the boy-who-lived to his seventh and final horcrux. After regaining his strength, Voldemort gathers all of his followers to attack Hogwarts and capture Harry. However, during the battle Harry, Ron and Hermione flee through the Forbidden forest, narrowly escaping Voldemort. Now the three friends are constantly on the run, trying to evade death eaters and snatchers, but hiding gets more complicated once Voldemort opens the link between him and his horcrux causing the two to share dreams
Eventually after months on the run, Voldemort gives Harry an ultimatum: willingly surrender himself to the new ruler of magical Britain and have his friends spared, or be taken by force and leave the lives of his friends and family in the hands of Voldemort.
